DATA-DRIVEN INFECTION PREVENTION INTERVENTION IN A GROUP DENTAL PRACTICE

DESCRIPTION     After the breakdown in the infection control protocol in a group dental practice, an established infection prevention (IP) training program was used to test the IP knowledge of the clinical staff.  Based on this data, on-site inspections and personnel interviews, a focused educational process was put in place.  A post-test was administered several months after the training to ensure that the knowledge base was maintained.
