Bacteria shown to curb mosquitoes' ability to spread Zika

Brazilian researchers have shown for the first time that using Wolbachia bacteria, an experimental technique designed to shrink Aedes aegyptipopulations, can dramatically curb their ability to transmit Zika virus.
