    WHO MADE THIS HAPPEN?

PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT

Putting together a program that would help attendees "connect to drive compliance" was an enormous undertaking by many committed infection prevention and safety experts.

Starting on Sunday, June 12, 2011 in Dallas (Plano), several people met to debrief the 2011 meeting and lay plans for 2012. Helene Bednarsh RDH MHP, Fiona Collins BDS MBA MA and Leann Keefer RDH MSM volunteered to lead all of the key functions for the symposium and did an absolutely stellar job.

Hard working committee members included Manuel Cordero DDS MAGD DABFD (Private Practice), Kathy Eklund RDH MHP (Forsyth Institute), Kandis Garland RDH MS (Idaho State University), Hudson Garrett PhD MSN MPH ARNP (PDI Healthcare), Nita Mazurat DDS MSc (University of Manitoba), Molly Newlon DDS MA (UCSF School of Dentistry), Thomas Plamondon DDS (Peak Vista Community Health Center), Robert Sergent DMD, Sheila Strock DMD MPH (American Dental Association).

Thanks for developing a phenomenal program!

ONSITE VOLUNTEERS

If you are interested in contributing a little time to help the on-site team of volunteers at the 2012 symposium, please let us know by clicking HERE. You will have the opportunity to get to know the organization better, make new friends and have fun with dedicated members and family who pull out all the stops to ensure the week is a success.

AUCTION

Thanks to the vision of Lori Paulson and Mary Govoni RDH RDA MBA 15 years ago, the OSAP charity auction has become the organization's largest fundraiser and FUNraiser. It is a wonderful event that symposium attendees look forward to.

Several people are critical to the auction's continued success. Two people in particular have gone over and above to ensure the auction delivers: Jean Wolff RDH MEd and Andy Whitehead. OSAP thanks these two leaders for organizing every detail (Jean) and for being the famous auctioneer who has put the event on the map (Andy).

The 2011 auction was very successful and we are pleased to report that the genorisity of OSAP members and friends is without match. Thanks to everyone's support and contributions the 2011 auction has raised almost $100,000! MANY THANKS!
