From Policy to Practice: OSAP's Guide to the CDC Guidelines (2022 Edition)

From Policy to Practice: OSAP's Guide to the CDC Guidelines (2022 Edition)Although the CDC guidelines are comprehensive, they describe only what dental health care personnel (DHCP) should do, not how they should do it. This workbook will help you understand and implement the CDC guidelines into practice in your own setting. For example, the CDC guidelines might specify that dental instruments be cleaned and then heat sterilized; the OSAP guide explains exactly how to clean and sterilize those instruments.

Each chapter of the workbook contains practical, how-to instructions, charts and checklists, pictures and captions, answers to common questions, and guidance for making sound clinical judgments.
