October 19, 2018 (ATLANTA) —  The Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) announces that registration is now open for Dental Infection Control Boot Camp taking place Wednesday, January 23 to Friday, January 25, 2019, at the Intercontinental Buckhead. National and international experts in infection prevention and patient safety will deliver a fast-paced, comprehensive curriculum. Early-bird rates are available now through October 31 on OSAP’s website.

The OSAP Dental Infection Control Boot Camp is a core educational course covering all the basics in infection prevention and safety. All those whose work focuses on dental infection prevention and control, whether clinicians, educators, or sales reps, will benefit from attending OSAP Boot Camp, which qualifies for step two of the new OSAP-DALE Foundation Dental Infection Prevention and Control Certificate Program™. Individuals who earn the certificate will have proven, demonstrative knowledge of a comprehensive dental infection prevention and control curriculum.

Completing this new four-step certificate program will serve as one gateway to earning the OSAP-DANB Dental Industry Specialist in Infection Prevention and Control (DISIPC) coming in 2019 or the OSAP-DANB Certified in Dental Infection Prevention and Control (CDIPC) coming in 2020.

The Dental Infection Control Boot Camp offers federal services and civilian attendees a foundational, comprehensive three-day in-person training program that covers core infection prevention and safety fundamentals for dental practitioners. It offers 24+ continuing education hours. Additional breakout sessions are available on Saturday, January 26.
