OSAP 2012 Symposium is Must-Attend PDF Print Email

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

January 26, 2012 (ANNAPOLIS) — The Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) has opened online registration of a "must-attend” program for those who are responsible for infection prevention and patient and provider safety in oral healthcare settings. Educators and consultants; professionals in risk management and public health; policy makers in disease control and safety, infection control coordinators, sales and marketing professionals and scientists are invited to experience an incredible program organized under the theme "Connecting to Drive Compliance” June 21-23 in Atlanta, GA.

"I believe this year's symposium will be our best and most informative to date,” said Therese Long, OSAP executive director. "We have put together an outstanding line-up of presentations, workshops, exhibits, research, networking activities and a special opportunity to visit the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Everyone who attends will most certainly bring back new and innovative information and implementation ideas to their own practice environments.”

The Symposium will be conducted at the new, conveniently located Loews Atlanta Hotel. The comprehensive program will feature more than 20 influential speakers discussing the latest diseases, vaccinations, trends, regulatory updates, research technologies and training tools. The top infection prevention and safety companies will also highlight applicable products and resources, and all participants will be able to socialize and network at specially designed events.

OSAP is taking advantage of its Atlanta venue in 2012 to facilitate tours of the CDC, the nation's premier health promotion, prevention and preparedness agency. A limited number of slots are available to participate in one of three guided tours of the David J. Sencer CDC Museum at CDC headquarters on Thursday, June 21.

By registering early, attendees can access the tremendous wealth of practical, insightful and timely information at an even greater savings. Registration is only available online, and can be accessed by visiting http://www.osap.org/and clicking on the OSAP 2012 Symposium link.

Admission includes comprehensive education through access to pre-conference sessions, review of scientific abstracts and opportunity to discuss findings, 18 hours of continuing education, networking, exhibits, digital access to speaker presentations and much more.
