February 6, 2019 (ATLANTA) — The Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) announces that registration is now open for its Annual Conference, taking place Thursday, May 30 to Sunday, June 2 at the Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa in Tucson, AZ. National and international experts in infection prevention and patient safety will deliver a richly constructed conference combining world-class education with valuable networking activities. Early-bird rates are available now through February 28 at osap.org.

The OSAP Annual Conference is the premier dental infection prevention and control education event. Anyone that has a role related to dental infection prevention and control, whether clinicians, educators, or sales representatives, will benefit from attending OSAP Annual Conference. OSAP will be honoring its proud past of 35 years of promoting The Safest Dental Visit™ as well as looking forward to a bright future ahead in dental infection prevention and control.

Attendees will enhance their knowledge of current and emerging issues related to infection prevention and safety and leave with new resources and tools. Additionally, attendees will create a network of peers within the OSAP and dental community who share similar interests or expertise. OSAP Annual Conference will help participants identify important attributes to develop and enhance global leadership for the optimal delivery of infection prevention and safety. More than 30 different sessions are being offered to give attendees a rich educational experience.

“After experiencing a record-breaking attendance for January’s Dental Infection Control Boot Camp™, we anticipate this year’s Annual Conference will also be one of OSAP’s best events to date. Our slate of world-class experts will be speaking on the latest emerging dental infection control and patient safety topics. After experiencing a sold-out boot camp six weeks prior to the event, we are recommending registering early.”

OSAP has also partnered with Indian Health Services to offer, for the first time, a pre-conference IHS/Tribal/Urban only dental infection prevention and safety program. This fast-paced, focused curriculum will stress checklists in action specifically for IHS participants.
