takes the infection control recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and helps put them into practice. The comprehensive workbook has been updated to reflect both the recommendations from the CDC Guidelines for Infection Control in Dental Health-Care Settings-2003 and the 2016 Summary of Infection Prevention Practices in Dental Settings: Basic Expectations for Safe Care. The teaching method for this program is a self-study workbook. Each chapter contains practical, how-to instructions, charts and checklists, pictures and captions, answers to common questions, and guidance for making sound clinical judgments.
